Emerging Theme is a digital publication that attempts to merge academic theory with real-world events. The primary goal of the founder was to explore relevant theories and implications of global and local events. Second to that, we wanted to bring academia to the masses, making it accessible to those who do not have access to school — accessible academia. There’s no reason one should be locked out of education and critical thought simply because they are not or cannot go to school.

We are not a peer-reviewed publication, nor do we currently have the intention to be. Though our guests and editorial team have their own thoughts on the subjects at hand, our goal is to dive impartially into the material before producing an opinion, conclusion or recommendation — avoiding popular fallacies and pitfalls in reasoning.Our goal is simply to provide accurate, comprehensive perspectives, rooted in critical thought and academic rigor, to current events, their implications, and potential recommendations.
